Sr Nozikolo Virginia Nelani is a professional nurse with thirty-nine years of experience in the nursing field. She was qualified as a General Nurse, Midwife, Community and Psychiatric Nurse, Nursing Administration and Nursing Education. She has worked in a hospital setting in different wards, clinical department as a mentor for students, lectured psychiatric nursing to students.
She has worked at Primary Health Care setting in mobile clinics rendering services to farm workers and worked in fixed clinics. Has also worked at Provincial Department in the HIV and AIDS Directorate liaising with Districts and reporting directly to National Department of Health on High Transmission Area (HTA) programme. She later transferred to Buffalo City Metropolitan Health District where she worked as the General Health Programmes Manager supervising clinical programmes, acted as the sub district manager and facility manager of the Community Health Centre.
